About MSDUK Certification

MSDUK (Minority Supplier Development UK) is the UK’s leading supplier diversity advocacy organisation, dedicated to representing and certifying non-white ethnic minority-owned businesses. The certification aims to foster the growth and sustainability of these businesses by facilitating connections with global corporations committed to a more diverse and inclusive supply chain.

Certification Criteria

To achieve MSDUK certification, businesses must meet the following criteria:

  • The business must be a for-profit enterprise.
  • It must be physically located in the UK and registered with Companies House, operating under UK Company Law.
  • At least 51% of the business must be owned by individuals from non-white ethnic minority groups.
  • The non-white ethnic minority owners must be UK citizens or have indefinite leave to remain in the UK, or any other visa leading to ILR.
  • The non-white ethnic minority owners must be actively involved in the management and daily operations of the business.
